At McKlein, we place importance on supporting the communities that our employees live and work in. Our factories in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand are filled with excellently skilled workers, which continue to provide us with the highest quality products. We strive to give back to the communities where our factory workers live. Every year McKlein gives back to the community through the schools, environmental projects, and other community improvements. Each year we make every effort to invest back into the area where we manufacture our products. As we grow as a company we want to make sure that we also give back to those communities that aid in our success.

So far in 2007 McKlein has donated books and school supplies to two different schools located in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. We look forward in helping out the community throughout the year.
McKlein is grateful to its customers for
their loyalty and in turn strives to give back to the communities
that sustain them.
McKlein is a proud supporter of UNICEF, Habitat for Humanity,
The Walk to Cure Diabetes and The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society
UNICEF is an international organization that is committed to making
the world a fit place for children to live. UNICEF, in partnership
with individuals, non-governmental organizations, foundations
and corporations, works to advocate for the world’s
children, increase awareness among the public of children’s
needs and raise funds in support of their work. Their mission
is to advance humanity by promoting the health, education,
equality, and protection of children worldwide. They rely
on donations and volunteers to foster their initiatives. To
learn more about how you can contribute, visit: http://www.unicef.org/.
They also have an online catalog of cards and gifts http://www.supportunicef.org/forms/order.html.
Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from catalog sales goes
to funding UNICEF projects.
Habitat for Humanity is an international organization committed to eliminating
substandard housing worldwide. “Substandard housing
is a problem that plagues individuals, communities and entire
nations around the world. Habitat for Humanity is solving
the problem of substandard housing. At work in 89 nations,
the ministry has housed more than 750,000 individuals in 3,000
communities. Each person touched by Habitat for Humanity—whether
a homeowner, volunteer or other supporter—becomes a
force of change, a link in the chain of real solutions to
the real problem of inadequate housing in our world.”

The
Walk to Cure Diabetes is a walkathon,
held in more than 200 locations throughout the year, benefiting
the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
More than 500,000
men, women, and children—including those from 5,000
large corporations and local companies, and 3,500 family teams will
participate this year. The Walk raised more than $74 million
last year for diabetes research. This year, their goal is
to raise $80 million.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society relies on the support of
individuals,
corporations and foundations to fund the Society's research
initiatives, patient services and education programs. They
are extremely
grateful to their many generous donors and sponsors
who made it possible for them to invest $358 million in research
since 1949. Your gift will help them find cures for leukemia, Hodgkin
and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. On behalf of the Society's
volunteers, supporters and all who are battling blood cancers,
we thank you very much for your help.
